TROWBRIDGE Town Youth ended their season in style in the under 10s Blue Division of the Wiltshire Times and Chippenham News Mid-Wilts Youth and Minor League with a 3-2 home win over Chippenham Town Youth.

Taran Stormes-Martino gave Trowbridge the lead before the match was temporarily halted midway through first half because of a snowstorm

Chippenham equalised shortly after the match had resumed, but Trowbridge's excellent passing game proved too powerful for Chippenham.

Trowbridge kept the pressure on until Luke Murden blasted home a goal, giving Trowbridge the halftime advantage.

Stormes-Martino completed his hat-trick early in the second half, toe-poking in a Jordan Bryant shot that had rebounded off the bar.

Chippenham pulled a goal back, but Tristan Buckland's outstanding goalkeeping ensured the victory for Trowbridge.

TROWBRIDGE Town ran out clear 8-0 winners over Melksham Park in their penultimate game.

Ryan Underwood scored the first Trowbridge hat-trick of the season and there were two goals for Lewis Kay, two for James Lawford and one for Luke Whittard, who was playing against the team he left earlier in the season.

THE race is on for this the championship, with Devizes Town Youth moving to just seven points behind leaders Warminster United with three games in hand following their 4-3 home win against AFC Corsham.

Kieran Chivers put Devizes 1-0 up, with Jack Vasey bringing the game level. Jake Roberts regained the lead for the home side before the break.

After the interval James Goddard equalised before Roberts once again put Devizes ahead only for Lee Marshall to the score for the third time in the game. The game was settled in the last three minutes when Chivers knocked in his second.
