16605/3A SOUND engineer who counts top Irish girl band The Corrs among his clients has won a major award.
Max Bisgrove, 39, of Springfield Road, Bradford on Avon was named sound engineer of the year at the Total Production International Awards.
Mr Bisgrove mixes the sound for live concerts and was working in Dublin when the awards ceremony took place at the end of last month. He was unable to attend but a letter was read out from Andrea Corr when the winner was announced by former Undertones front man Feargal Sharkey. Mr Bisgrove, a former Clarendon College pupil, has worked in the same field since leaving school and travels all over the world.
At the moment he is mixing the sound for a live DVD for The Corrs and hopes to take on more local work in the future.
