FORMER Bath player Jimmy Dean led a half-term coaching session for more than 20 youngsters in Wingfield on Monday.
Dean, who is now the club's community development manager, visited the village near Trowbridge, after being contacted by resident and avid Bath fan Doreen Willis.
Mrs Willis set up Wingfield Youth Sport after she and her husband Len in 1997 and the group enables youngsters to try anything from boules to cricket.
Mr Willis said: "When we moved here she realised that the children in the village had nothing much to do other than school and home work.
"Doreen has been supporting Bath since the mid-1980s.
"She goes to every home match and knows all the players."
