Ref. 76078-19MUM Karen Coulthard lives in the shadow of the sex trade.
Nipping to the local shop after dark means attracting the unwanted attention of sleazy kerb-crawlers.
And her husband Ken is fed up of being pestered by street girls.
"You just don't feel safe, it draws the wrong kind of people to the area," said the 43-year-old mother-of-three from Broad Street.
"It's not very nice seeing them standing on the corners when we come back from a family day out.
"My children all know what a prostitute is."
Karen who helps run the local Neighbourhood Watch is firmly in favour of legal brothels. "I'm sure it would work, I mean it's been successful in other countries, like Holland.
"A brothel would be much safer for the girls, they can control who comes in and get regularly medical checks."
