A SHOW designed to encourage children to stay in education after their GCSEs is to be performed at secondary schools in Swindon.
The Stay In Learning presentation by the theatre company ImpACT On Learning will feature pop music and impressions of TV and film stars, including Vicky Pollard from Little Britain, Buffy The Vampire Slayer, left, and characters from The Lord Of The Rings.
Each performance will outline the courses, qualifications and support available when deciding on which educational route to take after GCSEs.
Dr Penny Hackett, the executive director for the Learning And Skills Council Of Wiltshire and Swindon, which organised the show, said: "We are pleased to be working with ImpACT On Learning once more this year.
"I am sure that the presentations will help students make some crucial decisions about the best route for them at the end of Year 11.
"Ideally they will continue in learning and ultimately choose a fulfilling career to follow."
The show will be performed at Greendown and Churchfields schools on Monday and at Headlands School on Thursday.
