RESIDENTS of Cricklade can find out more about a proposed good neighbour scheme for the town.
Link Schemes have proved successful in other parts of the county. They offer help to those who are less able, such as the elderly, the disabled and those in temporary difficulty.
Help is provided by volunteers who typically offer help with matters such as transport to medical appointments, shopping, collecting prescriptions or doing small tasks in the home.
Last year a transport survey in the town identified a need among elderly residents for transport to local services.
The meeting is being held in the Town Hall annexe at 7.30pm on Thursday March 3. Refreshments will be provided.
Anyone wanting more information can telephone Link Project on 01380 722241 or the town council office on 01793 751394.
