I HAVE just returned home after ten days spent in the Great Western Hospital.

I feel I must express my gratitude for the wonderful treatment I received.

From the moment the paramedic arrived five minutes after my daughter phoned and the ambulance minutes later, arriving at the acute assessment unit, everyone worked so hard and efficiently.

After being transferred to the Cardiac Unit I can only say everyone, from auxiliaries, nurses, doctors and consultants, made me feel valued and cared for, to the highest standards.

May God bless them all, they work so hard, quite often understaffed and never ever complaining.
