WITH regard to Steven Luke's latest letter to the Advertiser, is it really appropriate for the headteacher of Freshbrook School to be entering into a tit for tat battle of words on the letters page of the Advertiser with parents of Windmill Hill School?
We all want what is best for our children, whichever school they attend and this page serves as a voice for us to be heard.
We are happy with our school and are fighting against its closure, this does not mean we are in conflict with Freshbrook School.
We want a solution which suits all our children's needs.
What sort of relationship is Mr Luke setting up with parents of Windmill Hill School if the merger were to go ahead?
He has already accused us of not putting our children's education first, which is a huge insult to any parent.
Does he want to alienate us all, what sort of future will that lead to for this wonderful new extended school we are all supposed to embrace?
