KISSES at a north Swindon pub raised more than £200 for a children's charity.
Chairwoman of the NSPCC's Swindon committee, Sue Hooper, was jubilant about the proceeds of a competition at the Abbeymeads in Elstree Way on Valentine's Day.
People who took part paid £1 each to apply a coat of lipstick, donated by Virgin V, and then impress a big smackeroo on a piece of card.
The results were displayed in the bar to be judged by Damian Pickett from GWR FM.
Landlady Claire Henderson said it was a fun way to raise money for a worthwhile cause.
