15412/1CHATTERBOXES Jessica Shields and Abigail Hughes have amazed their families and helped the Tsunami Appeal without saying so much as a single word.
The two friends from Pewsey Primary School managed to stay silent for 24 hours and collected £200 in sponsorship from family and friends who never believed they could do it.
Abigail, who lives in Pewsey High Street, and Jessica, of Wilcot Road, both ten, like nothing better than to spend hours chatting about ways of making money for charity, said Abigail's mum Linda.
They have had zany ideas like walking barefoot for the RSPB, however, their latest idea shocked even their parents.
"We were all surprised that they both managed to maintain it for the whole 24 hours," said Mrs Hughes.
