WILTSHIRE manager Mel Gingell said he was close to having a heart attack last Saturday after being put through an emotional rollercoaster against Cornwall at St Blazey.
The scores were tied 3-3 at half-time after an explosive opening. Then in the dying minutes Wiltshire were disallowed a goal for an off the ball incident.
The hosts went straight up the other end and grabbed the winner.
Wiltshire now need two wins out of their last two games against Devon and challengers Gloucester to win the Southern Counties League.
Gloucester are just a point in front of Wiltshire with the two sides meeting on the last game of the competiton.
Gingell said: "I cannot see what was wrong with our goal but I can't do anything about it now."
Disaister struck for Wiltshire five minutes before the game when keeper Jez Hare twisted his knee in the warm up. Stand in keeper Eddie Quelch was thrown in at the last minute.
Wiltshire took the lead with less than 60 seconds of the match gone. Melksham's Chris Beasley volleyed in.
Four minutes later Brigham handled the ball in his own penalty area and the striker tucked away the penalty.
With just ten gone Wiltshire regained the lead when Matt Bennett showed some fine individual skill to power past the home keeper.
Minutes later the scores were level again when rookie keeper Qulech missed a cross and the home player headed in.
With five minutes left a volley from Scott Lye restored the lead two minutes before Cornwall made it 3-3 with a near post header.
With a few minutes left Lye's volley was disallowed and Cornwall struck.
