GAZETTE & HERALD: RESIDENTS of Calne will be able to check out the latest range of Fairtrade chocolate, coffee and fashion during the first week of March.
A Fairtrade fashion ahow will take place in Calne Town Hall on March 4 between 7pm and 9.30pm.
The following night a Fairtrade fayre will take place at the Lansdowne Hall, Derry Hill between 7pm and 9.30pm and it is expected to one of the highlights of a packed Fairtrade fortnight.
This year's awareness-raising festival, on the theme of Check Out Fair Trade, is aimed at encouraging customers to think about the grower.
North Wiltshire Fairtrade coordinator Irene Docherty said: "We want as many locals and tourists as possible to try out Fairtrade foods because Fairtrade is about providing opportunities for a better quality of life for growers overseas, tasty goods for consumers and a sustainable future for all of us."
