Rotarians organise many events for charity to raise money for charity. Here are some of them.
An annual duck race is organised by the Rotary Club of Old Town on the River Rae at Wotton Bassett to raise money for Macmillan nurses.
A charity golf day is held every year by all three clubs in aid of Multiple Sclerosis.
The Rotary Club of Old Town raised £30,000 to build a school in Kenya for under-privileged children.
The Rotary Club of Swindon donated tools along with Hills Waste to Sierra Leone.
Swindon Thamesdown Rotary Club teamed up with the North Wiltshire club to raise £3,000 for Prospect Hospice in Wroughton.
The Rotary Club of Swindon has raised £1,000 for Breakthrough Breast Cancer.
A family fun day was organised in 2001 by Swindon Rotarians to raise money for Macmillan. The event included a recreation of an American Civil War battle, a funfair, dog show, and fete stalls.
As part of the National Asthma campaign Swindon Rotary Club organise an annual Young Musician Competition. The competition is open to all Swindon School children who play a variety of instruments.
The Rotary Club also organises Christmas parties for children across Swindon each year, where Santa hands out gifts.
Swindon's Kentwood choir has received more than £4,000 from the Rotarians over the past few years.
Cricklade Rotary members went on a sponsored walk in 1999 around the decks of a Sealink ferry to raise £3,000 for the Family Holiday Association.
Rotarians have raised various amounts of money throughout the years for Wiltshire Association for the Blind.
