A BURGLAR who stole hundreds of pounds worth of goods from a house in Westbury is facing a prison sentence.
Aaron Gibbings, 28, of Mount Pleasant, Atworth, admitted taking part in a burglary at a friend's house in Beech Grove when he appeared at Swindon Crown Court on Friday.
Gibbings admitted stealing a television, DVD player, video player and DVD discs on January 10, 2004.
Robin Shellard, defending, said Gibbings had changed his plea to guilty on the morning of his trial after the prosecution served additional evidence on them.
He said Gibbings accepted his guilt and knew the victim.
The case was adjourned for the Crown Prosecution Service to assess the basis of plea.
Gibbings was released on unconditional bail.
Recorder Michael Tennant warned Gibbings that sentence was 'at large' meaning he could be facing prison.
