A POPULAR baroque band will be performing in an historic barn on Sunday. Bradford Baroque Band will be following a theme of German Baroque at the West Barn.
The venue, which is next to the Tithe Barn, will play host to a variety of music composed by the Bach, Handel, Telemann and Schaffrath.
The band, which has been entertaining music lovers from Bradford for the past eight years, has also played at Longleat Safari Park, Bath Abbey and the Wiltshire Music Centre.
Harpsichord player Steven Hollas, 49, who is also a piano teacher at St Laurence School, said: "Usually it's a small group of instrumentalists but we will be accompanying a choir this time.
"This is our fifth concert at the West Barn in the last couple of years and it has a very good atmosphere and acoustics."
The group will be performing with a replica of a 1738 Colin Booth harpsichord for the first time.
The concert starts at 7.30pm. Tickets are priced £8 and are available on (01225) 865959.
