IF IT ain't broke don't fix it goes the saying and Swindon have largely stuck to that motto ahead of their Berks, Bucks & Oxon Premier Division clash with Oxford tomorrow.
After last weekend's 95-point demolition of Thatcham, the Greenbridge Road table toppers have gone for more of the same against their mid-table rivals.
With a four-point cushion at the summit, coach John Brown has rewarded his troops by making just one change.
Former captain Stuart Cock is missing from the backline, so Nathan Waite come in to cover.
Development squad player Ben Pailor performed well enough last weekend to retain his place in the squad and isjoined by James Turney and Ian Butcher on the bench.
Oxford are stranded in mid-table, but did give Swindon a run for their money earlier this season before Brown's men earned a 14-10 triumph.
In Berks, Bucks & Oxon One South, Swindon College are another side going for glory and will hope to take a tighter grip on second place with victory over Grove 2nd at Pipers' Way.
College are clear in second place, almost certainly enough to earn them, at worst, a promotion play-off at the end of the season.
Team boss Martin Peaple explained: "Newbury 3rd are probably gone at the top, but Beaconsfield 2nd beating Chinnor's thirds was a big boost for us.
"It's looking good. We have a bit of breathing space and we want to try and cement that position.''
The Southern Counties South title race has swung in Wootton Bassett's favour and the Stoneover Lane outfit will be hoping for a favour from neighbours Devizes tomorrow.
Bassett host North Dorset, while title rivals Frome who were stunned 31-0 by fellow promotion chasers Bournemouth last weekend visit the Saddlebacks.
Devizes welcome back prop Dan Masters after a six-match ban
In another twist, Bournemouth, now in second spot, play fifth-placed Dorchester.
Chippenham's South West Two East title chances should become clearer after this weekend.
The second-placed side host leaders Reading Abbey at Allington Field.
Corsham welcome back former Dorset & Wilts centre Tom Sandell for tomorrow's Dorset & Wilts Division 1 North derby at Calne.
The league leaders travel to face their third-placed rivals at their Anchor Road ground, and are boosted by Sandell's return, after a longstanding back problem.
Sandell takes his place on the bench as Corsham look to take a step closer to the title.
