A MAN has appeared in court charged with fare dodging.
Andrew Thompson, 30, of Cricklade Road, pleaded not guilty to deception after failing to pay his taxi fare on February 10.
Magistrates heard Thompson was spotted by police climbing over a fence after telling a driver that he did not have any money on him but was going to fetch his wallet from inside his house.
The case was adjourned until April 14 and Thompson was granted unconditional bail.
