HAPPY AT WORK:
ACCORDING to the poll only four per cent of estate agents are happy with their work.
Ian Street, 38, is the manager at Atwell Martin estate agents in Old Town.
He has been in the trade since he was 19 and says he loves his job.
Ian said: "I wouldn't change my job for anything."
He said: "It is a high pressured job so if someone is working just on commission and is not selling many houses, then I can understand that they may not get a lot of satisfaction."
Ian thinks being an estate agent is not a nine to five job and the work involves long hours and weekends.
He said: "You have to look outside the box."
Sometimes estate agents have to give bad news especially when house sales fall through.
However, Ian said that the enormous satisfaction of seeing a sale through to the end outweighs any of the bad parts of the job.
