TROWBRIDGE slid further into relegation danger on Saturday after a comprehensive defeat to Tadley.
They are now just three points ahead of second from bottom Bradford on Avon and still have to play them before the end of the campaign.
It is still unknown whether one or two sides will be relegated from the Southern Counties league but Trowbridge will be looking anxiously over their shoulders.
Winger Gavin Danpis was Tadley's match winner as his sound overall performances was capped with two tries at his side took a 12-5 lead in at the break.
Trowbridge's points came from a touch down by Dan Reid and a penalty by Lloyd Davis.
Tadley's other scorers were Chris Seward and Kevin Inman.
