SWINDON College Old Boys cemented their second place in rugby's Berks Bucks & Oxon 1 South table with a 30-10 victory over Grove at Pipers Way.
The win was further boosted when third-placed Chinnor could only draw with Wheatley.
This left the Old Boys five points clear and odds-on favourites to gain a play-off place at the end of the season.
The Old Boys scored four tries, through John Godsell, Tony Brant and two from James Harman, in a game which witnessed a 30-minute delay when an injured Grove forward was taken to hospital.
He was later discharged and rejoined his colleagues after the match.
