TEN-MAN Calne tasted defeat in the First Division for the first time since October. The boys from Bremhill View crashed 4-1 at Wiltshire rivals Shrewton.
Calne were reeling early on when Jess Walters scored from the spot. Shaun Collins notched the second before the break.
Andy Lyle was given a second yellow card early in the second half but Calne pulled one back through Glen Armstrong.
Walters restored the two-goal cushion and Dean Foot netted a late fourth to rock Calne's title ambitions. Kelvin Highmore's men remain third but are now six points behind leaders Willand who won 2-1 against Street.
Elsewhere in the First, Biddestone held Elmore to a 1-1 draw.
Matt Harvey put Elmore ahead midway through a one-sided first half.
But the home team improved after the interval and Matt Caines headed in Dean Brookman's cross for a share of the spoils.
Devizes managed to shrug off their recent poor form to pinch a decent Premier Division point at Barnstaple.
Kevin Squire had fired the home side into a 12th-minute head and they looked comfortable after that.
But a succession of chances went begging and Barnstaple were made to rue their inaccuracy when Simon Price headed home a 77th-minute equaliser.
