Children in Swindon will do their bit for the environment this week when they help plant 2,000 new trees.
Five hundred youngsters from Swindon schools will take part in the Tree for All scheme between today and Friday.
The kids are joining forces with the Woodland Trust, the UK's leading conservation charity, to plant 2,000 trees at Purton Wood.
The funding comes from Ecover, makers of ecological cleaning products.
Penny Pulfrey, of the Woodland Trust, said: "Planting a tree is fun and a great way for children to discover the beauty of our woodland."
