I NORMALLY read Trevor Wilson' s letters with great interest. But a recent one surprised me because of the inaccuracies.

We no longer have traffic wardens, the council employs parking attendants, who lick and stick offending vehicles found parked illegally.

The police employed traffic wardens, to control traffic by direction, that was until the police lost interest, it has to be moving to draw their attention to offenders, as the police just drive past vehicles parked up, all over the borough.

We have the street wardens, who are supposed to sort out anti-social activities. If parking on grass verges is not anti-social, what is?
