IN response to Mr Heavens Memories hike, can I remind him of my memories? Like when in 1964, the Labour government shut down the carriage and wagon works.

Like when in 1965 they also shut down the steam production. What, apart from the glorious Western class locos, was produced since then?

Like when Mr Blair told us the dome would be the envy of the world and spent nearly four billion pounds of taxpayers' money on it and is still wasting money on it to this very day.

Like when cigarette adverts were banned but not if you donated to the Labour coffers, like when the number of MRSA cases have doubled since '97, like when the pension schemes of this country were the envy of the world. Like when thousands of animals were killed in the foot and mouth outbreak, because this government did not have a clue what to do. Like when the Home Secretary said he had no idea of the numbers of illegal immigrants because again they have no idea what to do.
