76222-104SWINDON musicians are hoping to score for the Prospect Hospice when they play a charity gig next month.
Dance For Prospect will take place at The Winners' Lounge, Swindon Town Football Club at the County Ground.
TV's Stars In Their Eyes performer Carl Sharpe will be kicking off the set as Bryan Adams and playing down the wing will be popular party band Locomotion.
Never offside are the town rockers Pete Townsend and the All Stars, Penfold, Gina, a solo artist from Bristol, and Tony Williamson with his Party People Roadshow. There will be a dance cabaret from Fay and Kelly who put on their own dance show at the Arts Centre last year.
All the artists are donating their services for free in aid of the hospice, based at Wroughton.
Organiser Dave Kingsbury said: "The Prospect Hospice is a well known local charity.
"It relies on voluntary support for most of its annual costs."
Dave said: "I am looking for a local company to match the amount raised on the night. My aim is to raise £2,000 for this worthy cause.''
The gig will be on Wednesday April 6 from 8pm.
On the night there will be a grand raffle and to keep up the strength for dancing a selection of snacks.
