RESIDENTS of Swindon are being asked to nominate an outstanding school or inspirational headteacher, teacher or teaching assistant for the Teaching Awards 2005.
There are ten categories for the awards which include the Healthy Schools Award; BT Award for Teacher of the Year in a Primary School; the Guardian Award for Teacher of the Year in a Secondary School; the Promethean Award for Headteacher of the Year in a Primary School and the RAF Award for Headteacher of the Year in a Secondary School.

The winners will be announced at a ceremony on June 21 in Bristol.
