A DEDICATION service has relaunched a funeral home in Highworth at the weekend.
The new facility is at AE Baker and Sons, Cardinal House, Brewery Street, Highworth and is owned and run by Oxford, Swindon & Gloucester Co-op.
Church ministers including Reverend Geoff Sowden from St Michael's Church, Highworth (Church of England) and Deacon Shaun Murphy from St Mary's Roman Catholic Church dedicated the new facilities, and there was then a service of blessing for the Chapel of Rest.
Also attending was the Mayor of Highworth, Coun Gordon Jefferies group general manager for Oxford, Swindon & Gloucester Co-op, Graham Lymn and President of the National Association of Funeral Directors, Gillian Huteson.
Mr Lymn said: "We are delighted to officially launch, with a dedication service, these newly refurbished premises.
"AE Baker and Sons are well known locally for delivering a range of professional and welcoming funeral services.
"Our newlook premises, which includes a refurbishment of the Chapel of Rest will really add to the quality of service we give to local people."
