QUEUES of people clutching prized family heirlooms lined up at Salisbury Guildhall, on Sunday, to have them valued by a team of experts from BBC TV's Flog It antiques show.
The programmes-makers were hosting a valuation day in the city to select items for one of the show's forthcoming auctions.
The event was a bit like a treasure hunt, with show presenter Paul Martin and expert auctioneers waiting eagerly to see what valuables might turn up.
Flog It combines the traditional appeal of the Antiques Roadshow with the knockabout excitement of Bargain Hunt.
The added twist is that the show's contributors can win or lose money by selling their possessions at auction.
