EMMA Carter can't believe she's still alive after a dramatic crash yesterday left her upside down on the inside roof of her car with a fence post stuck in the engine.
Miss Carter, 23, of Brinkworth, was driving to work in the rain at Swindon-based car fleet company Arval, when she left the road on the B4042 near Ballard's Ash, Wootton Bassett.
Her car, a Renault Clio, slid up the grass verge before mounting the hedge, colliding with a fence, flipping over and rolling several times before coming to a halt upside down on the road.
"I wasn't going fast and I don't know what happened it just happened so fast," said Miss Carter
"I'm just amazed I'm still here and have managed to walk away I've got a few cuts and bruises and a headache but it could have been much worse."
The car was a write-off.
