SWINDON residents who have been burgled could be reunited with their chattels thanks to the Wiltshire Police.
A series of art and antique viewing roadshows will be taking place across the county featuring items that have been stolen from people's homes.
On display will be paintings, porcelain, silverware, fine art and furniture and other recovered items.
The road show will be coming to Westlea police station on Thursday April 28 between 2pm and 9pm, Friday April 29 between 10am and 5pm and Saturday April 30 between 10am and 2pm.
A Swindon Police spokeswoman said: "Wiltshire Police hope that members of the public from around the county who have reported items stolen will come and view the haul to see if any of their precious possessions have been recovered.
"The aim of these sessions is to unite as many owners as possible with their property."
Anybody who goes along to one of the road shows needs to bring along receipts, photographs or other identifying documents with them to help match them with their property and as proof that it is theirs.
Anyone who wants more information about the viewing days at Westlea police station should contact PC Steve Hicketts from the Operation Delta Team at Swindon Police on 01793 507 912.
