AN Edington man has been cleared of assault causing actual bodily harm after the prosecution announced it had insufficient evidence to proceed.
Peter Niemeyer, 33, of Banner Place, was alleged to have committed the assault on October 30 last year.
But he left Chippenham magistrates court a free man on Wednesday after district judge Simon Cooper dismissed the charge.
