From the start of this cup final at Allington Field on Sunday, Chippenham were put under pressure but it took ten minutes before the visitors could find any space for the first of their five tries in the match.
Chippenham made some good runs but Salisbury were always on hand to spoil the flow. This format continued right to the dying seconds when a series of driving mauls took Salisbury right back to their own try line. The ball was picked up by James Sloan to score Chippenham's only try. Jake Emery added the conversion.
Salisbury now go on to represent Wiltshire in the Dorset & Wilts finals which are scheduled to be held at Allington Field on April 24.
