A PARENT and toddler group in Abbey Meads has celebrated its first birthday.
The group, called Wrigglers, was set up by Lisa Hume and Alison Carr who, after having their own babies, realised that other groups had long waiting lists for people who wanted to join.
The group is funded by the Swindon Early Years Learning Partnership and also receives help from the Swindon Children's Information Centre.
Wrigglers now has 38 children and meets on Monday mornings and afternoons at Abbey Meads Community Primary School.
There are still places available for the afternoon session.
For information contact Lisa on 01793 700141.
