DOCTOR Who is helping in the hunt to find a cure for cancer.
Actor Christopher Eccleston, pictured, who plays the time lord in the BBC series, is launching a fund-raising campaign to help medical research into beating the disease.
Eccleston, 41, has recorded a 30-second voice-over for a cinema advert to appeal for at least £250,000 to fund the research.
