PUPILS at Windmill Hill School, in Freshbrook, have raised nearly £2,000 for the Children With Leukaemia charity.
The children took part in a treasure hunt challenge.
They had to collect 26 items on a list from around the school and were sponsored for each item they collected.
Headteacher David Messenger said the school decided to raise money to support a pupil who has leukaemia.
Each child at the school who entered the challenge received a special certificate to acknowledge their help in raising the money.
