A 34-year-old woman is to face trial by jury after pleading not guilty to a string of assaults.
Joanne Sloly is accused of wounding Barry Davies with intent on June 30 last year.
She is also charged with unlawful wounding and common assault on the same man and assaulting Maria Richards, all on the same day. Sloly, of Cricklade Road, Gorse Hill, pleaded not guilty to all four charges when she appeared before a judge at Swindon Crown Court.
The case was adjourned for a trial date to be fixed and she was released on bail on condition she does not have any contact with any witnesses or go to Swindon Rugby Club.
