A convoy of six classic Mini cars set off from Gorse Hill yesterday on a sponsored trip around the Cotswolds.
Peggy-Sue Ford organised the event to raise cash for Gorse Hill's Green Hut charity, which helps people who are homeless, unemployed or have mental health problems. The 24-year-old student nurse decided to put her passion for Minis to good use after her dad, Melvyn Wright, was helped by the Green Hut when he was out of work.
It is the second year that the event has been held for the charity.
Peggy-Sue, of Avebury Road, Penhill, said: "They need the money so I thought I would do something about it.
"It's such brilliant fun anyway." The 90-mile route took them through Burford and Moreton in Marsh, stopping off at Bourton-on- the Water for lunch.
The convoy of cars set off from St Barnabas Church, where the charity is based.
And, for the first time Peggy-Sue was able to get behind the wheel herself after passing her driving test a few weeks ago.
The event raised £170.
