A CHARITY for disabled people has people interested in taking part in a fundraising stamina challenge.
Swindon-based Working for Opportunities is holding a test of mental and physical endurance, which will include activities such as trailer pulls, orienteering and problem solving. The 9th General Support Regiment will be on hand at the Buckley Barracks, Stanton St Quinton, near Chippenham, to put participants through their paces.
Working for Opportunities coordinator John Green said: "We've sent out more than 50 letters about it to companies on our register and we've already had a few calls.
"It seems something people are interested in taking part in and it should be a fun day."
The organisation, based in the Shaftesbury Centre, Rodbourne, helps disabled people in Swindon find work.
The entry fee is £10 per person and those talking part are asked to raise a minimum of £20 each.
The event runs from 10am-9pm on Saturday, May 14 and after all the hard work there will be a Gurkha curry made by the experts.
