MORE than 600 staff had to be evacuated from a Swindon office block after a bomb scare.
The workers at Zurich Financial Services in the Tricentre in the town centre were evacuated while police were called in yesterday afternoon.
Employees waited up to an hour before polices officers gave the all clear.
Debbie, Isaac, a spokeswoman for Zurich: "The police were contacted and the building was evacuated per our policy, the building was then fully checked but everything was okay and, everyone was allowed back inside."
