THE Kip Mcgrath Centre in West Swindon has been busier than ever.
It had to open over the Easter holidays due to a high demand for the service.
The after school tutoring system has been set up to help with reading, writing, spelling and maths.
David and Andrea Parkinson, who are both teachers at Oak Tree Primary School, run the centre.
Andrea said: "This demand has come from parents wishing their children to keep learning and, in many cases, from the children themselves.
"Both parents and students are recognising the incredible progress made in just a few weeks tuition and the enjoyment and the boost to their self-esteem has been immense.
She added: "We have also had comments sent through from teachers who can already see noticeable progress.
"Some children have also come for tuition on days additional to their scheduled times to try to get ahead during the holidays."
