FIVE Londoners have pleaded guilty to taking part in a robbery on the Abbey Stadium at Blunsdon.
The men made off with a Saturday night's takings in October last year after tying up two employees at the greyhound track.
And they now face lengthy jail sentences for their part in the early morning attack on the stadium offices.
Andre Khorassandjian, 27, of Colney Hatch Lane, Muswell Hill, Ronaldo Samuel, 22, of Millbrook Road, Edmonton, Dominic Roberts, 29, of Tottenham Lane, Earl Fairclough, 25, of Oxford Gardens, Notting Hill and Jonathan Gill, 28, of Norman Court, Hornsey, all admitted robbery.
Nearly £18,000 was taken in the raid when two members of staff who were cashing up a Saturday night's takings were attacked. The raiders, who wore gloves to prevent traces of DNA being left, were armed with a lock knife and knuckle duster. The gang was arrested on the motorway to London.
A total of £17,885 was taken during the raid, which happened in the early hours of Sunday October 10.
Fairclough, who had originally pleaded not guilty, changed his plea yesterday. The other four admitted their part in the offence in December. All five men have been remanded in custody to be sentenced at a later date.
