A CHARITY that rescues unwanted pets in Swindon is appealing for volunteers.
The Swindon Animal Sanctuary and the League of Friends of Teckels, in Gloucestershire joined forces 18 months ago when both groups faced funding problems.
The charity, now named Teckels Animal Sanctuary, has a centre in Whitminster and organisers are hoping to open another in Swindon.
The group already works in the town, rescuing unwanted pets and finding them new homes here.
