THERE are still places available for daredevils wanting to raise money for the Swindon Cancer Appeal.
Dozens of volunteers have signed up to abseil 100ft down the side of the WH Smith building in Greenbridge later this month.
Anyone wanting to take part needs to raise at least £100 worth of sponsorship to be able to enter.
Last year 51 people took part and raised a total of £12,000.
And organisers are determined to better that total this year to boost funds for Macmillan Cancer Relief.
The cash will fund specialist nurses in the town who will help bring comfort to cancer patients and their families.
The event is run under the watchful eye of troops from the Royal Artillery Display Troop. It will be held on April 30.
