The children at Goddard Park Primary School in Welcombe Avenue have managed to raise more than £1,000 for the next stage of the Swindon Cancer Appeal.
Even headteacher Mike Welsh got in on the act, and decided to streak his hair with highlights.
He said: "The children and staff thought it was great, it really seems to work but not on the bald parts."
Over the past two years they have now raised £3,060 in total towards our appeal, with a variety of events. They have taken part in Macmillan's The Big Hush, a sponsored silence forcing the youngsters to hold their tongues. They also completed the Macmillan Miles Challenge, where they chose an activity, be it cycling, walking or running and then do it over a distance of a mile for charity. The school has also had several non-uniform days, all to support the Swindon Cancer Appeal.
Mr Welsh said: "Macmillan has always been the school's chosen charity, and we are delighted to support the Evening Advertiser's Swindon Cancer Appeal"
