MELKSHAM'S relegaton worries deepened with Monday's defeat, which came after a 2-1 defeat at home to Saltash on Saturday.
Now manager Lee Burns is warning his players they need to concentrate on picking up four points from their last 15 to stay safe.
He said: "We have to keep scrapping, but we have Torrington on the last day and I hope we do not have to go there and get a result."
The manager feels it will be difficult to get points from high-flyers Frome on Monday.
He added: "I am a realist and we know it will be extremely difficult. I would love to get a result at Frome and sometimes luck is on your side."
Burns was impressed with keeper Tom Drewitt who made his debut against Odd Down. Drewitt was promoted from the youth team after American keeper Brad Williams returned home to continue a university course. Melksham were a goal down after 25 minutes when a long range shot hit the bar and the striker pounced on the rebound.
Burns was left fuming after the second as two Odd Down, who started play on the same points as the hosts, defenders collided and the referee somehow gave them a free kick, which was deflected in.
The hosts hit a consolation eight minutes from time when teenage substitute Nick Ridout headed in form close range.
