SARSEN Housing Association is on the hunt for couples who met during the Second World War to be guests of honour at a tea dance to mark Sarsen's tenth birthday as well as the 60th anniversary of VE Day.
The tea dance will be held on May 5 from 2pm to 4pm at the Wyvern Club, Devizes, with a live band to play everyone's wartime favourites.
Award-winning dance duo Sarah-Jane Brown and Paul Richards from Hampshire will kick off the dance with some 1940s swing.
Stuart Davies, managing director of Sarsen, said: 'This is a special year for Sarsen and many of our tenants. It marks Sarsen's first decade of providing affordable homes to people across the South West and I'm sure that the 60th anniversary of VE Day will bring back memories for residents who lived through the war years.
"The 1940s was a great era for community spirit, which we hope to re-capture at the dance."
To join Sarsen on a trip down Memory Lane, contact Terri Yewkins on (01380) 735469 or Annette Holdsworth on (01380) 735387 and reserve a place.
