GRAFTON School recently held a very successful inaugural clay shoot at Wilton Water which helped to raise more than £2,000 towards an extension for the school.
A total of 108 people of all levels shot in the individual competition and 90 guns took part in the team event.
Wilton Kitchens sponsored the trophies. Colin Scarlett was top gun, Angie Orssich won the ladies and Ben Francis the under-18s.
The Chancers, comprising Darren Halliwel, Owen Moody and Adrian Joyce took the team prize in the tightly contested 3 Man Flush.
Jack Allen won the fly casting competition and was rewarded with vouchers provided by Roxton's in Hungerford.
A hog roast and refreshments helped oil the wheels of the event which was enjoyed by all. The event was organised by the Friends of Grafton School.
