A SECOND teenage boy has told a jury he was sexually abused by 44-year-old Nationwide worker Craig Taylor.

The youngster said he was still 15 years old and muddled about his sexuality when Taylor carried out the indecent assaults on him.

His evidence came after a 16-year-old with learning difficulties told how he had also been abused by the IT worker who has two previous convictions for sex crimes on children.

The second teenager said that he originally met Taylor when he was a 14-year-old schoolboy and living in Park North.

He said Taylor, who then lived on Welcombe Avenue, used to walk home the same way and the boy would get cigarettes from him.

The two met again in spring 2003 when the teenager said he was going through problems with his family and was mixed up about his sexuality. He told the jury that he asked Taylor if he could stay at his home on the Saturday and went to bed wearing his boxer shorts in the spare room.

However the following morning he said he woke next to Taylor in his bed without his underwear on.

Despite being annoyed about what had happened he said he stayed again the following night.

He said that a week or so later he was watching Power Rangers on television at Taylor's house when he tried to touch him indecently.

Under cross examination from Peter Henry, defending, he denied that he had been lying about what had happened.

Taylor, of Stubsmead, Eldene, denies three counts of indecent assault on a boy under 16 and four of sexual activity with a person with a mental disorder impeding choice.

The case continues.
