GAZETTE & HERALD: A 44-YEAR-OLD woman in Lyneham has been left knickerless after returning home to discover her underwear had been stolen from her bedroom.
Police said the woman has had £100 of underwear taken after an intruder got in through a dog flap.
The incident occurred some time between March 24 and April 4 at a house on Eider Avenue, Lyneham.
Sgt Andy Fortune of Wootton Bassett Police said: "This is a complete one-off and we haven't had any other incidents like this.
"It's obviously distressing for the woman and we are appealing for anyone who knows anything about this to get in touch with us."
