CHIPPENHAM NEWS: THE 15-year-old daughter of the first man to conquer the Explorers' Grand Slam of the North and South Poles has completed her own feat after breaking the arctic world record.
Alicia Hempleman-Adams, daughter of David, from Box, braved freezing temperatures of up to -50C and strong winds to become the youngest person to navigate the polar route of Baffin Island, a hostile mountainous region.
